GIS and Elections

This week I recieved a copy of the ArcUser Magazine from Esri in the mail. The cover story is about the "Geography of Elections". I am convinced that GIS holds potential for citizens, democratic political parties and government alike. We're only at the beginning of a major shift, whereby different sectors of society will start to take advantages GIS capabilities. Wait and see.... in four years, I bet that the next Presidential election will be much more sophisticated with its use of geospatial information.
